AMECA accredits lab for lighting tests

The Automotive Manufacturer Equipment Compliance Agency (AMECA) has extended accreditation to the Automotive Research & Testing Center (ARTC), established by the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan, to test automotive lighting equipment. To receive accreditation, a lab's measurement instrument standards must remain traceable to primary standards maintained by the National Institute of Standards and Technology or the national physical laboratory maintaining such standards in the country in which the lab is located. www.ameca.org.
