-- Test & Measurement World, 4/1/2009 2:00:00 AM
The OM-SQ2010 general-purpose datalogger provides four differential or eight single-ended analog-input channels to measure current, voltage, resistance, and temperature. The unit also furnishes eight digital-input channels to automatically trigger or stop logging. The OM-SQ2010 handles routine datalogging needs, including applications requiring up to 10 readings/s on a single channel. An RS-232 port allows you to connect the unit to other devices.
The standard OM-SQ-SOFT software enables logger configuration, data download, and data export. The optional OM-SQ-SOFT-PLUS software provides advanced data-analysis and data-archiving features as well as report generation. It lets you display data with two different auto-scaling y axes; zoom in on areas of interest; use a cursor to pick out exact values, times, and dates; get a statistical summary of your data; set high and low alarm thresholds; and use the calculation function to create new virtual channels from existing channels.
Base prices: OM-SQ2010—$1500; OM-SQ-SOFT-PLUS software—$293. Omega Engineering, www.omega.com.
