Entry-level fiber-optic test tools

JDSU’s c-Series of compact photonic test tools for the development and manufacture of fiber-optic connectors and passive components provides an entry-level alternative for engineers who require simple, single-function testers. The c-Series includes the cOPM-A1 optical power meter, the cFPL-A1 Fabry-Perot light source, and the cORL-A1 optical return loss meter.
The general-purpose bench testers are entry-level instruments designed for new labs and for engineers just entering the industry, as well as for small- and medium-sized manufacturers of connectors and patchcords.
