Sunstone partners on PCB initiatives

Sunstone Circuits is working with with NXP Semiconductors to build and certify the complete NXP parts catalog within Sunstone’s PCB123 V3.2 design software. From within the software environment, engineers can access NXP’s library and then order parts online from Digi-Key.

In addition, Sunstone has joined forces with National Instruments to offer an integrated PCB prototype and quick-turn design environment, enabling NI Multisim and NI Ultiboard customers to order prototype PCBs via the Sunstone ECOsystem Design Environment. NI has incorporated Sunstone’s DFM rules and file specifications within the Ultiboard layout tool.

That''s fine and all, but I prefer to use their subsidiary, PCB Express and their own PCB Express design software. Very shallow learning curve with PCBExpress, steep learning curve with PCB123
