US Navy awards Symtx test contract

The US Navy recently purchased 27 jet engine test instrumentation systems (JETI) from Symtx, an Austin, TX-based manufacturer of functional testers. These systems will be used to test various US Navy aircraft engines, including ones on the F/A-18 and F-14 jet fighters. The systems will also provide maintenance and support in both shipboard and land-based installations. www.symtx.com.
