Base station analyzer

Tektronix has enhanced its handheld NetTek base analyzer with the ability to test for EMF emissions. NetTek now tests the radio wave propagation characteristics of a W-CDMA base station, translating dBm into W/m². In addition, the unit is equipped to test tower-mounted amplifiers, performing antenna-to-antenna isolation measurements and insertion gain/loss measurements. It also offers a module for trouble-shooting E1 connections to the base station. Tektronix, www.tektronix.com.
