PCI Express card delivers digital I/O

Relays and optoisolators let you control equipment without introducing ground loops. With Sealevel Systems’ DIO-32.PCIe PCI Express card, you can add 16 optically isolated digital inputs and 16 relay-control outputs to your PC-based test or control system. The input lines operate on logic from 3 V to 13 V or 10 V to 30 V (depending on the model) with 300-V isolation. The reed-relay outputs can drive up to 100 V or current up to 500 mA as long as the output power doesn’t exceed 10 W.
You can connect the DIO-32.PCIe to your equipment through a 72-in. cable that breaks the card’s DB-78 connector into two DB-37 connectors. You can then design an interface board or cable to connect to your systems. Software support for the DIO-32.PCIe includes drivers and utilities for Windows 2000, XP, and Vista as well as drivers for Linux.
