Portable test system

A rugged portable test system from Advint Advanced Integration is designed for factory or field support. The Puma platform provides an open-architecture platform based on PXI for functional testing of digital, analog, and RF electronics. It employs a single-frame 19-in. rack-mount system with 3U PXI and SCXI chassis and uses LabWindows and LabView for test program installation.

Comprehensive self-test and field-calibration capabilities are available with the addition of an interface test adapter. The Puma unit also has a Windows-based GUI that allows an operator to control the unit's power supply assemblies, its PXI instruments, and the system under test. Advint Advanced, www.advint.com.
