Protocol analyzer tests USB 3.0

LeCroy has unveiled the Voyager verification system, a protocol analyzer exerciser system for testing USB 3.0 devices, systems, and software. The company says that this sixth-generation verification platform will help developers bring USB 3.0 products to market faster, while ensuring compatibility with USB 2.0 products.
The Voyager protocol analyzer provides simultaneous protocol capture of both USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 signaling. It uses the CATC Trace protocol-analysis software display to illustrate the USB 3.0 protocol, and it offers advanced triggering and hardware filtering to help developers quickly understand and verify early USB 3.0 protocol behavior.
