Data-acquisition tool for Linux

Exacq Technologies has released version 1.06 of its data-acquisition tools for the Linux operating system. The release includes drivers, applications, and programming tools needed to use the company's data-acquisition boards.

The tool requires an Intel Linux distribution based on a v2.4.x kernel with module and proc file system support, but any v2.4.x distribution should be compatible. The tool release is provided at no extra charge as part of every data-acquisition board. Existing users can download the tool from the company's download page. In addition to the Linux tools, Exacq has released version 1.8 of its software development kit. Exacq Technologies, www.exacq.com.
