MOSFET Array Provides Matched-Channel Pairs
-- Test & Measurement World, 7/12/2005 11:40:00 AM
Current sources and voltage amplifiers that need matched sets of P-channel and N-channel MOSFETs can use the ALD1105 from Advanced Linear Devices. Available in 14-pin DIP or SOIC packages, the ALD1105 contains one matched pair of P-channnel MOSFETs and one matched pair of N-channel MOSFETs.
The device has an input impedance of 1013 ohms and a DC current gain of 109. Each transistor pair is matched for minimum offset voltage and differential thermal response.
Primary applications include precision signal switching and amplifying in +1-V to +12-V systems where you need low input bias current, low input capacitance, and fast switching speed. The ALD1105 can be configured in complementary pairs to create a dual CMOS analog switch.
Pricing starts at $1.00 in quantities of 1000 pieces. www.aldinc.com
