  • DAQ Card Increases Bandwidth

    -- Test & Measurement World, 11/22/2005 9:07:00 AM

Radstone Embedded Computing has released the ICS-645D, a 32-channel data-acquisition card that bundles an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with a programmable clock. The new PCI card includes the differential inputs, four voltage ranges, and anti-alias filtering features of its predecessor--the ICS-645C--while improving upon that card's data rate and storage capacity.

The ICS-645D provides two high bandwidth data paths for communication with host systems. The 64/66 PCI interface provides data rates in excess of 400 Mbytes/s. The FPDP II port provides a dedicated connection for collecting data from multiple cards, while eliminating interrupt latencies. In addition, the ICS-645D includes 16 Mbytes of onboard storage.
