BPM Microsystems has introduced its BPWin 5.0 software platform. Enhancements to BPWin 5.0 include an IP (intellectual property) protection feature that allows users to securely share data file, permitting viewing and editing only under password control.
A process monitoring and control API features automation control and supports SPC (statistical process control), verification, auditing and logging. A process monitoring function allows customer-defined functionality to manage the programming process. The customizable solution is independent of language and ERP (enterprise resource planning) platform.
BPWin 5.0 provides software version control with the BPWinLauncher feature. This feature allows automatic BPWin revision loading and supports multiple versions of BPWin on a single host.
The device programming feature includes a NAND management utility and supports data-pattern compression. MS Windows account-based security-management tools provide algorithm additions and critical updates. Other features include the JobMaster integrity check, enhanced buffer utilities, and an image format tool. The software’s automated programming system provides faster setup and changeover and comes with an expanded Cyberoptics utility.
