Moritex LEDs operate from constant 24-VDC drive
-- Test & Measurement World, 10/28/2008 11:15:00 AM
Prelude is the new LED lighting range from Moritex, which the company claims combines affordability, reliability, and performance with easy integration into machine vision systems. Prelude lighting is driven by a constant voltage of 24 VDC, providing the lowest cost and least-prone-to-failure method for driving and monitoring LEDs from a system perspective.
Fully RoHS-compliant, Prelude LED lighting is available in three different colors—red, blue, and white—and in ring, bar, flat, and square configurations with standard size screw-in connectors. All LEDs undergo inspection for lighting power (intensity), uniformity, temperature, and aging characteristics to ensure quality and reliability.
