  • Offset Kelvin probe

    Staff -- Test & Measurement World, 11/1/2005 2:00:00 AM

For use with 0.5-mm test sockets, Synergetix' offset Kelvin probe allows you to accurately space and measure package resistance to within 1 milliohm, while taking advantage of conventional DUT board designs. The probe's beveled-tip offset needle allows for tighter centers, down to 0.2 mm, on the device pad. The needle is constructed with a tungsten alloy that is 300% harder than the gold-plated beryllium copper used on conventional probes, extending probe life and reducing total cost of ownership.
