Enhancements included in Release 15.5 of Agilent Technologies' IO Libraries Suite not only support Windows Vista 64-bit, but also Windows 7 in 32-bit and 64-bit versions. The software is a collection of libraries that gives you the ability to use your instruments from a test and measurement program, plus utilities that help you connect your instruments to a PC.The 15.5 update offers operating system flexibility for users of IO Libraries Suite in the environment of their choice. The addition of 64-bit support enables test and measurement customers to use faster, more powerful PCs with the latest software, including Matlab R2009b. It automatically detects the instruments connected to the PC and configures the interfaces. What's more, IO Libraries Suite is compatible with GPIB, USB, Ethernet/LAN, RS-232, and VXI test instruments from a variety of vendors. It supports a broad set of development environments, such as VEE Pro, Matlab, Visual Studio, and LabView.
