Verigy has announced that ISE Labs has expanded its test capabilities with the addition of Verigy's V93000 HSM (High Speed Memory) system. Verigy reported that ISE Labs is the first test house in Silicon Valley to offer a high-speed memory test system for characterization of DDR3 (Double Data Rate 3) and QDR (Quad Data Rate) devices operating to 3.6 Gbps and above. These devices are typically found in consumer and commercial applications such as high-performance servers and gaming PCs.
"The V93000 HSM system is the only solution available that addresses the requirements of high-speed characterization and failure analysis," said Rabbi Islam, VP of the engineering and test business unit at ISE Labs. "We believe this gives ISE Labs a significant advantage by making us the only test house in the local area to offer testing of next-generation, high-speed memory devices. Verigy's V93000 HSM system completes our turnkey solution that includes temperature control, handlers, probers, and load board design."
"We are pleased to extend our relationship with ISE Labs to bridge the gap for their customers who are creating the next-generation of high-speed memory devices," said Pascal Ronde, VP of sales, service, and support at Verigy. "This is an example of Verigy's ongoing efforts to extend our expertise to help our customers address complex, high-speed memory characterization and testing challenges."
