Quanti is a general test and measurement product family from Finero that comprises a combination of functions, such as electrical safety and digital multimeter or LCR (inductance, capacitance, and resistance). The Finnish company claims that its range of functional and electrical safety testers, and a combination of them, gives users the necessary test and measurement meters for a given application without having to stack different kinds of equipment on the R&D test bench.

The Quanti series is made up of 13 different models that offer various options for combining and integrating such functions as DMM, hipot, ground bond, leakage current, LCR, and continuity test. Quanti can be used to accommodate general test and measurement needs in labs, production, and type tests. Despite the great variety of available test functions, devices remain very compact in a 3U housing for benchtop or rack-mount use.

Quanti products can be equipped with four different optional interfaces. Contrary to nearly all testing devices available on the market, Quanti equipment uses a proprietary RS-485 interface for Quanti-to-Quanti communications. Each unit has a 4.3-in. color LCD and program storage for up to 20 test sequences containing 25 steps. Windows-based software is included for the creation and loading of test programs from your PC, and all Quanti products are compatible with LabView.
