  • PSE's tiny loggers record current and voltage

The Tinytag View 2 16-bit loggers come in a rugged IP65-rated watertight housing with an integral 4-digit LCD.

Two battery-powered single-channel data loggers from German manufacturer Priggen Special Electronic (PSE) connect to a variety of industry-standard sensors and transducers to enable the recording of a wide range of process and environmental parameters. The Tinytag View 2 16-bit loggers come in a rugged IP65-rated watertight housing with an integral 4-digit LCD.

The TV-4704 accommodates an input voltage range of 0 to 25 VDC and provides a resolution of 1mV, while the TV-4804 accepts an input current range of 0 to 25 mA DC with a resolution of 1 µA. Each device has a memory capacity of 30,000 readings and offers user-programmable sampling intervals between 1 s and 10 days. They also furnish two programmable alarms, delayed start for up to 45 days, direct start via a reed switch, and three stop functions.

Tinytag Explorer, an optional Windows-based program for all Tinytag data loggers, simplifies logger setup and configuration, as well as the viewing and analysis of recorded data.

Offloaded data can be presented either as a summary or in detailed, configurable graphical or tabular views. Data is presented graphically by default, with simple navigation features that allow you to zoom in and scroll through your data. Axes can also be rescaled, line colors changed, and notes added for clearer presentation. Graphs are also dynamically linked to the tabular and information views, so that changing the view magnification automatically updates the other views. All three views can be exported into Microsoft Excel and Word, either by file export or copy and paste. What's more, data from multiple logging runs or multiple loggers can be combined into the same graph or table.
