  • Wineman Technology and Tecnalia Research debut Dynacar at NIWeek

    -- Test & Measurement World, 8/4/2011 4:03:38 PM

Wineman Technology, an automotive design and test system integrator, and Tecnalia Research, an applied research institute based in Spain, teamed up at NIWeek to introduce Dynacar, a fully validated, real-time vehicle model simulator for developing and testing passenger and light commercial vehicles, including electric vehicles as well as hybrid and conventional ones. Dynacar is a plug-in for Wineman's Inertia test-automation software and National Instrument's Veristand real-time test and simulation software.

Dynacar provides a common test platform that engineers can use throughout the development cycle from early vehicle design through HIL (hardware-in-the-loop) and dynamometer testing, including on the production floor. Dynacar offers 1-ms loop closure rates. It accommodates custom control algorithms and simulation models developed in multiple languages.
