Desco acquires Mueller Electric

Mueller Electric announced that is has been acquired by Desco in an all-cash deal. The manufacturer and distributor of test leads, cable assemblies, clips, connectors, and accessories for electronic component, factory automation, and test-and-measurement markets will continue its operations in Akron, OH, as well as its sales growth initiatives.

Headquartered in Columbus, OH, Desco and its affiliates are a group of diversified industrial manufacturing and technology companies with facilities in North America, Europe, and Asia. The company presently owns eight separate middle-market industrial businesses.
