Teseq has extended the capabilities of its ITS 6006 radiated immunity test system with the addition of the SW 6012 RF switch unit. The SW 6012 provides two SPDT relay switches and is fully powered and controlled by the ITS 6006.

Two interlock connections, along with indicator LEDs, are provided on the back of the unit for switching the amplifier gain on and off. In addition, the SW 6012 furnishes a second user port socket for connecting other devices. Specifications include operation up to 12.4 GHz, power handling up to 1500 W, and a typical response time of less than 20 ms.

The SW 6012 RF switch unit is 125×82×155 mm and weighs approximately 1 kg. It comes with a 19-in. rack-mounting plate. For stand-alone operation, the alternative SW 6012-MAN offers an independent RF switching system with manual operation and its own power supply.
