On November 1, 2011, Test & Measurement World's editors announced the finalists for the 2012 Best in Test, Test of Time, and Test Engineer of the Year awards. We invited our readers to vote for their favorites in each category, with a voting deadline of December 16, 2011.(Update, 2/1/2012: T&MW announced the winners of the 2012 awards during a ceremony held in conjunction with the 2012 DesignCon show. For this year's Best in Test awards, our editors reviewed many commendable products nominated by vendors and chose finalists in 17 categories. The annual Test of Time award honors a test, measurement, or inspection product that continues to provide state-of-the-art performance more than five years after its introduction. For the 2012 award, products had to be released before January 1, 2007. From the nominations submitted my vendors, our editors selected 10 finalists for the 2012 award. Test & Measurement World's annual Test Engineer of the Year award pays tribute to the important contributions that test engineers make to the quality of electronics components, products, and systems. The winner will designate an engineering program to receive a $10,000 grant, courtesy of National Instruments, the award sponsor. Go to the Test Engineer of the Year finalists page. |
