TEST PRODUCT OF THE YEAR MDO4000 Mixed-Domain Oscilloscope, Tektronix ![]() Soon after accepting a Best in Test award for the MDO4000, Chris Loberg (left) of Tektronix returned to the stage to accept the Test Product of the Year award from Martin Rowe, senior technical editor at Test & Measurement World. The Test Product of the Year is the Best in Test winner that receives the most overall votes. For 2012, the winner is the MDO4000 series of mixed-domain oscilloscopes from Tektronix. The MDO4000 series includes a built-in spectrum analyzer that allows design engineers to look at time-correlated analog, digital, serial, and RF data and gain a complete system view of their devices. |

TEST ENGINEER OF THE YEAR Brad Davis, Broadcom Brad Davis, left, accepted the Test Engineer of the Year award from Matthew Friedman, Senior Product Manager for Automated Test at National Instruments. National Instruments sponsors the annual award, and donates $10,000 to an engineering program chosen by the winner.Brad Davis of Broadcom, one of six finalists for the 2012 Test Engineer of the Year award, was instrumental in helping his company introduce a wireless combo chip in February 2011.
