Modules measure temperature

High-rate testers ensure safer materials
The VHS8800 Series of servohydraulic high-rate test systems encompasses a wide range of machines, high-performance actuator options, and test fixtures with dynamic load capacities ranging from 25 kN to 100 kN and velocities up to 25 m/s. These are combined with specialized measurement transducers and a high-speed data-acquisition package controlled by Instron's FastTrack 8800 controller and VHS software. Test chambers fit on the bench
Ten new benchtop temperature and humidity chambers from Espec can perform temperature and humidity testing. The new chambers come in two interior volumes, and they occupy only half the bench space of conventional benchtop chambers. The new test chambers offer three different temperature ranges with lower limits of –20°C (–4ºF), –40°C (–40°F), or –60°C (–76°F) and an upper limit of 150°C (302°F).
