Concurrent and CyberMetrix to jointly develop test cells
Staff -- Test & Measurement World, 9/1/2003
The real-time division of Concurrent Computer (Duluth, GA; http://www.ccur.com) and CyberMetrix (Columbus, IN; http://www.cybermetrix.com), a provider of distributed and stand-alone product test systems and tools, have recently announced that they will jointly develop Linux-based engine test cells. CyberMetrix will use Concurrent Computer's iHawk PCI platforms running the RedHawk Linux real-time operating system for its next generation of high-performance CyFlex test and measurement systems.
The two companies will also become value-added resellers of each other's real-time components extending both companies' offering into the markets they serve. The agreement forms the basis for cooperative efforts to address Linux-based test cell market needs.
