RFI Ltd. gains Ford approval

Ford Motor Co. recently accredited Radio Frequency Investigation (RFI; Hollister, CA) as an approved EMC Test Laboratory for testing to the Ford engineering standard ES-XW7T-1A278-AB. RFI can now perform EMC performance testing on electronic subsystems installed in Ford vehicles. Since becoming accredited, RFI has already carried out testing for a wide range of electronic devices including car audio, various motors, sensors, door locks, rearview mirrors, and lighting systems.
RFI has an extensive ISO 17025 accreditation schedule, which now includes the Ford standard, CISPR, and ISO standards, and the company is also a VCA approved Technical Service, able to provide testing and certification for compliance with the Automotive Directive (95/54/EC). www.rfi-wireless.com.
