Crash sled upgraded

Staff -- Test & Measurement World, 12/1/2003

With the recent addition of side-impact and pitching/vertical motion capabilities, IST's enhanced servo-hydraulic crash-simulation sled provides an accurate simulation of occupant kinematics and resulting injuries that occur in real-life crashes. The crash sled is 100% computer controlled and uses nonlinear software modeling techniques. The software models provide accurate predictions of performance and specimen response.
