Module simulates diesel fuel-injector systems

Staff -- Test & Measurement World, 12/1/2003

The Programmable Fuel Injection Module (PFIM) is designed to test diesel fuel-injector systems for passenger and commercial vehicles. It takes the place of an engine controller in test and production scenarios, firing injectors using precise, user-specific electrical signals. Using the systems software, engineers can set test parameters for particular tests. This programmability makes the system reusable, allowing the system to adapt to ever-changing system requirements.
