Dyno control software goes wireless

Staff -- Test & Measurement World, 2/1/2004

The DynoLAB PT Dynamometer Test Cell Supervisory System now supports high-speed wireless communications between the test-cell sensors and control console, significantly decreasing installation costs. The software also features a new, low-cost combustion-analysis package, and using AC dynamometer technology, it provides accurate engine simulation capabilities. These features allow users to test powertrain components, such as transmissions and FEAD accessories under real-world conditions, without the need for an engine and required test-cell facilities.
