FLIR acquires Indigo Systems

Staff -- Test & Measurement World, 2/1/2004

Flir Systems (Portland, OR) has completed a previously announced acquisition of Indigo Systems (Goleta, CA). FLIR is a developer and supplier of advanced infrared cameras and components. Indigo Systems manufactures thermal-imaging and stabilized cameras for a wide variety of thermography and imaging applications.

In a prepared statement, Tim Fitzgibbons, chief executive officer of Indigo, said, "All of us at Indigo are delighted to be part of FLIR. Together, FLIR and Indigo make a dynamic team positioned to deliver higher performance, lower cost infrared products to our customers." www.flir.com.
