Cognex launches certified vision integrator program

In an effort to ensure local technical expertise for its customers, Cognex has launched a Certified Vision Integrator (CVI) program in North America. The program provides training, sales and marketing materials, software updates, and special pricing to the CVIs. CVIs can also provide support in implementing new customer applications of Cognex products.
In addition, Cognex announced it has shipped its 200,000th machine vision system since its inception in 1981. The milestone system went to AgentWare (Northville, MI), a developer of real-time information-access and process-management products for the automotive industry. www.cognex.com.
