AF Web site aids collaboration
Staff -- Test & Measurement World, 3/1/2004
Sponsored by the Air Force Dual Use Program (www.afrl.af.mil/dualuse), the Collaborator Web site aims to help managers and engineers work together to identify opportunities and reduce costs. Participants describe problems they are encountering and also any capabilities they have. The Web site database determines which participants can help each other and notifies them when a potential collaboration exists. No contact information is revealed until one participant responds to another's submission.
During its prototype phase, the Collaborator will concentrate on two technical areas: RF sensors and electric power generation and distribution. There is no charge for the service. www.thecollaborator.biz.
