Testing voice on FTTP networks

Tollgrade Communications has announced the LoopCare Test Operations Support System (OSS), which supports the testing of voice services in a fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) network. The LoopCare release 2.6 works with existing loop testing for POTS and ISDN services. It allows users to run remote diagnostics on network and customer premises systems in an automated fashion to speed dispatch decisions for repair crews.
