Broadband amplifier produces 500 W

Staff -- Test & Measurement World, 4/1/2004

The high-powered Model 5037 broadband amplifier produces 500 W of continuous wave power from 200 MHz to 1000 MHz. The amplifier has both input and output RF protection, and harmonics are typically more than 30 dBc below the fundamental frequency. There is also a built-in health test, which monitors the amplifier down to the module level. Ophir RF , Los Angeles, CA. 310-306-5556; www.ophirrf.com .
