An economical alternative to National Instruments' PCI-6070E, the PCI-DAS6070 offers the same performance and specifications, but costs $445 less than the NI board. The PCI-DAS6070 provides 16 single-ended or 8 differential 12-bit analog input channels sampling at up to 1.25 Msamples/s. It also supplies dual 12-bit analog outputs with 1-Msample/s maximum update rates. Eight digital bidirectional I/O lines can be used to control relay and solenoids, as well as monitor switch and contact closures. Price: $1050.
