Image-acquisition board

Staff -- Test & Measurement World, 5/1/2004

The PC2 CamLink image-acquisition board from Coreco Imaging provides high-performance monochrome image acquisition for the 32-bit PCI bus. The unit supports one area-scan or line-scan camera. The PC2-CamLink permits easy implementation in a variety of OEM imaging applications. Once users connect the camera cables and external triggers, bracket-mounted visual status LEDs indicate that all signals for acquisition and trigger are active. An 8-bit in, 8-bit out registered interface simplifies connectivity to other machine-vision equipment, while pin-to-pin connectors are compatible with other Coreco Imaging PC2 series and PCVision boards. The new board can transfer displays to host memory, freeing the CPU to perform processing tasks more quickly. Coreco Imaging, St. Laurent, QC, Canada. 514-333-1301; www.imaging.com .
