Vision subsystems

Staff -- Test & Measurement World, 5/1/2004

DVT has introduced an Ethernet I/O assembly, an industrial power supply, and an intelligent breakout board to complement the company's Legend family of vision systems. The Ethernet I/O assembly, CON-IOE, provides eight outputs and eight inputs (all expandable), bringing the system complement to 24 inputs and 24 outputs altogether.

The ACC-24I switched industrial power supply provides 2 A of continuous current. The supply accepts 100 to 240 V and outputs 24 V (adjustable between 24.5 and 28.5 VDC). A power-boost feature allows the supply to handle up to 4 A for brief periods. The Intelligent Breakout Board, CON-IBOB, adds G4 module cradles for optical relays to optically isolate I/O as well as status LEDs for each of the I/O lines.
