An updated version of the Cantega2k, a 2048T2048-pixel TEM camera, optimizes both camera performance and user friendliness. The new version of the Cantega2k offers three different readout rates. In the 5-MHz mode, the camera acquires up to 5 frames/s at a depth of 14 bits. The 3-MHz mode is available at this dynamic range as well, while the 1-MHz mode acquires images at a true bit depth of 16 bits.
