Unlike conventional sensors that detect only light to dark contrast, the QC50 color sensor detects up to three colors and their intensity. The module emits a modulated white light which, when reflected back from an object, is electronically filtered to its red, green, and blue components for accurate color determination. You can choose color-only or color-plus-intensity sensing modes to best suit your sorting application. The QC50 comes in a rugged IP67-rated ABS plastic housing. Price: $439.
