MTS, NI develop NVH test systems

Staff -- Test & Measurement World, 6/1/2004

MTS Systems and National Instruments recently announced a long-term contractual agreement to deliver a low-cost framework for standardized noise and vibration testing. MTS is spearheading the effort using its current products along with National Instruments' industry-standard software and hardware for test automation.

MTS plans to use the National Instruments LabView software platform for the new framework, which will help noise and vibration experts define and deploy standardized tests that engineers and technicians can use in product development and manufacturing. MTS and National Instruments expect to disclose a detailed product roadmap to select customers later this year. www.mts.com.
