The MobileForce W130 is certified to the MIL-STD-461E standard, as required by the DoD for operating in environments with high-level electromagnetic fields. Weighing in at only 5.9 lbs, the new W130 withstands 3-ft drops/shocks and has all the functionality of leading edge commercially available laptops, including a Pentium 1.1- or 1.2-GHz CPU, 802.11b wireless networking, and GSM/GPRS and DataTAC (Internet access via cellular network) connectivity.
