DT Measure Foundry and DT Measure Foundry/Real-time Streaming version 4.0.6 now let you create royalty-free executable application files. The application-development packages from Data Translation use icons and lists to build measurement applications. With the latest version, you can compile your applications and create install files so you can distribute applications to users.
Both development packages also include stand-alone applications that let you use Data Translation's hardware out of the box. A compiled application, included in programming examples, provides an oscilloscope, a spectrum analyzer, a digital voltmeter, and a function generator.
DT Measure Foundry ($1295) works with Data Translation's PCI and USB data-acquisition products. DT Measure Foundry/Real-time Streaming ($2495) works with the DT9841 Fulcrum II DSP-based data-acquisition board. Both products let you incorporate Matlab scripts into your application.
