The ICS daqPC, a 19-in. rack-mount box that is just 8.7 in. high, records two 40-MHz IF signals at a 400-Mbyte/s sustained rate. Acquired data is stored in an internal NTFS-formatted RAID system with a storage capacity of over 1.4 Terabytes. The sensor-based daqPC also provides time-stamping of ADC data, as well as data integrity checking during recording by taking periodic time and FFT snap-shots of the input analog signal.
