Teradyne (Boston, MA) has announced that Harman Music Group, a manufacturer of professional-grade audio products, has chosen to use the Teradyne XStation transmission x-ray inspection system exclusively for manufacturing test in its Sandy, UT, facility. "The XStation helps us find out quickly if we have a problem with our production equipment, such as our screen printer. It has helped us improve to a yield of less than 8 defects per million," said Paul Marconi, Harman's director of manufacturing, in a prepared statement. Teradyne reports that Harman has been using the XStation for about two years. www.teradyne.com.
