The OptiLink fiber-optic system allows users to place a Camera Link digital camera up to 500 m (1640 ft) from the data-processing unit. Each OptiLink system consists of a transmitter and receiver and two international AC/DC power supplies with multi-country interface plug adapters, all linked through a duplex multimode fiber-optic cable.
