With a new module from National Instruments, Camera Link cameras can use the PXI bus to perform high-speed, high-resolution image acquisition for machine-vision applications. The NI PXI-1428 image-acquisition module, which works with a range of Camera Link cameras, features a 32-Mbyte image buffer as well as advanced triggering capabilities for controlling camera lighting and for communicating with other automation equipment.
