Transducer identification system

Staff -- Test & Measurement World, 8/1/2004

HBM's intelligent transducer identification system helps eliminate the input errors that can occur when users manually enter parameters during the configuration of a measurement system. Both the T-ID and IEEE 1451.2 TEDS methods use an identification module that enables both the analog measurement signal and the transducer data, stored in digital format, to be easily retrieved without any additional wiring.
