Infrared temperature transmitter

Staff -- Test & Measurement World, 8/1/2004

Using variable focus optics, the M670S infrared temperature-measuring device boasts a response time of 7.5 ms and operates over a temperature range of 350°C to 3000°C. The M670S sees through conventional view ports, such as glass, quartz, or sapphire, without any loss of accuracy. It measures temperature by receiving passive incoming radiation from a target at very short wavelengths, which ensures that the selected wavelength matches the characteristics of the intended application. The device also provides a built-in set-point relay, LED alphanumeric display, and digital interface communication with remote addressability for up to 32 sensors.
