Concurrent adds NI products to iHawk Linux platforms

Staff -- Test & Measurement World, 9/1/2004

Concurrent Computer's Integrated Solutions Division has announced an agreement with National Instruments that makes Concurrent an NI Alliance Partner and a reseller of NI software and hardware. Concurrent will offer the NI products on its Intel Xeon and AMD Opteron-based iHawk systems powered by the RedHawk Linux real-time operating system. Concurrent's integrated computing systems provide a real-time Linux environment for NI LabView in hardware-in-the-loop, man-in-the-loop, and data-acquisition applications. RedHawk Linux's determinism and shielded processor technology enable LabView programs to execute without interruption.

Concurrent, headquartered in Duluth, GA, provides real-time computer systems and software for telecommunications, cable, government, military, aerospace, and industrial market sectors. www.ccur.com.
